Simply put, our objective is to exclude rodents from getting into your property in the first place. That starts with sealing up entry points, and it includes trapping and removing rodents for 30 days after the Exclusion is complete.

Additional solutions include removing the soiled insulation material and disinfecting the area(s) where rodents were inhabiting. After which, Geiger‘s Pest Services can install new insulation material where the contaminated insulation was removed. We offer T.A.P. insulation as our insulation product.   

T.A.P. is a special insulation infused with Orthoboric Acid. It is labeled and registered as a pest preventative for the following insects, Cockroaches, Termites (including Formosan Termites), Ants, Silverfish, Earwigs, Crickets, Sow bugs, Darkling Beetles, Millipedes, Centipedes, Booklice, Firebrats, Dermestids, Lady Beetles, Boxelder Bugs, Stink bugs, Kudzu Bugs, Bat Bugs, Pill Bugs, Snails, and slugs. Not only will you improve your heating and cooling costs, you will also have the added benefit of Pest Prevention.

Furthermore, insulation upgrades may qualify for tax credits from the federal government and rebates from your energy supplier.  To qualify for these benefits, you must first have an energy audit performed on your home by your energy supplier. (Duke Energy, Tampa Electric, etc.) Their representative will give you a list of improvements that you may perform to receive these benefits.
